3 T. sugar (I accidentally used 3 t. sugar and it still turned out fine)
1/2 t. salt
1/2 c. cornstarch
2 cups water
(I added in a squeeze of dish soap to make for easy clean up)
• Combine ingredients in a pan and heat until thickened.
• Put in containers and add food coloring as desired. Love these custom colors!
•Paint!
I've made homemade finger paint before, and it was a disaster...it turned out all weird and jello like. I'm so glad I tried a new recipe. Easy, cheap and fabulous! Enjoy!
I can't believe the pick-up times for the mail are only 12:00 and 4:30. They really need to hire more postal employees in your living room. Maybe if Micah wasn't posing for pictures he could be put to work. hahahahalawlimsocrazyhahaaaa :)

Haven't you heard? The post office is facing a budget crisis...they actually closed the living room branch and moved it to the basement...so now we have to walk all the way downstairs to mail a letter (or book or army man, or my keys and cell phone which often times I find in there). Sad sad economy.

ReplyDeleteWe always use ours up right away, but I would imagine it would keep just fine for a few days anyways. Might want to put it in the refrigerator just in case.
